With more than 100 million commercial active users on Office 365 and more than 500 million Windows 10 devices currently in use, Microsoft is in a distinct position to help companies improve business collaboration and productivity.
What Microsoft 365 does best is connect people and allow employees to share advanced tools through the Microsoft suite. Microsoft Connections allows small businesses to create professional-looking emails from an array of pre-made templates. With just a few clicks you can launch your newsletter campaign, send announcements or ask for customer referrals — and it includes the tools you need to help people sign up to receive your emails. As you accrue email subscribers, Microsoft 365 will teach you to manage your email lists by creating segments to help you target specific customer groups. Complete with tools to monitor open rates, clicks, new sign-ups and more, you can keep track of your successes and reformat your less successful emails, all with one convenient tool.
Microsoft Listings helps you publish your business information on top sites like Facebook, Google and Bing. Finding online listings can be time-consuming and unfruitful, but Microsoft Listings makes it easy to publish and monitor online reviews so you can better collect and understand customer feedback.
Microsoft Invoicing is a new way to create professional invoices. Businesses of old required full-time accountants to create and monitor invoices, but Microsoft Invoicing eliminates these tedious tasks and even integrates with PayPal so your small business can accept credit and debit card payments online. The program also connects to QuickBooks to sync your customer data and transfer invoice information to your accountant.
To keep things centralized and easily accessible, the new platform offers a business center, which aggregates all your bookings, connections, listings and invoices into a central location so you can view key metrics all in one, easy-to-use place. And, for small businesses on the road, Microsoft 365 also includes MileIQ, a tool for accurate mileage tracking.
Microsoft 365 Business costs $20 per month for full access to Office applications, public cloud storage, collaboration services, the Microsoft business applications, device management and single security to protect data across devices and aid against malware, viruses and spyware. The program updates automatically so you’re always using the most advanced version of the software.
